Year 1 are currently working on Super Sport as part of their topic for the creative curriculum. They have been doing lots of experiments on different kinds of materials and their properties. They have had lots of fun in the classroom looking at different objects and working on the Interactive White Board.

Year 1 went to Saltwell Park on Friday 26th September. We took part in an event called "Stories in the park." We dressed up as our favourite book characters
We listened to two stories read by Alice in Wonderland and The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe. Then we walked around the park, looked at the plants, played in the playground and had an ice cream. The weather was lovely and everyone had a great time. We even received a free book.Photographs of our trip are on display in our cloakroom.
